We are committed to ensuring our schools are a living part of the community and contribute positively to its needs.
We engender love and tolerance between and for our staff, pupils, and others to foster an inspiring atmosphere of mutual support.
We do everything possible to provide a caring, safe, and secure place for our staff and pupils to be happy and respected in our schools so they may achieve their potential.
“A cord of three strands is not easily broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12
The Bible teaches us that friendship makes us stronger, like a firm and solid cord of three strands. Alone we have no one to help us, but we benefit practically and spiritually when we have trusted friends by our side. God tells us it is better not to be a loner. Two people working together means that if someone has a problem the other person can help them, and when there are three people working together it is even more powerful.
At Weeting CE Primary School we believe that the three strands are woven together to build a firm and solid cord that gives our children the strongest start to their education. Our cord is made up of three strands:
At Weeting CE Primary School, we are building from the ground up: ensuring we get the children’s education right from the very start. Our strong emphasis on the teaching of early reading, writing and maths will lay the solid foundations for every child. The building blocks of our knowledge rich, carefully sequenced curriculum, coupled with strong evidence based pedagogy and principles, are reinforced by our solid Christian culture and ethos which permeates through everything we do.
"Our mission is to create the foundations to build successful futures".
The children have identified our three Christian Values as:
We will work together with the whole children, families and staff to encourage and instil these values in our school and community.
Our consistent approach to behaviour through our STAR approach ensures that all children are ready and able to learn. STAR stands for:
S: Sit up – look interested and stay engaged.
T: Track – show others that their ideas matter.
A: Appreciate – ideas by smiling and nodding when others speak.
R: Respond – to what was said to show you were listening.
We look forward to welcoming you into the Weeting family!
